Hi! My name is Mary, I live in San Francisco and I got married October this year!

I began this blog during the planning stages of my wedding and was overwhelmed by the dearth (or absence?) of information for Bay Area brides-to-be. I found lots of information on the web, but found that what was missing from all of these sites were useful, concrete, personal reviews with common criteria by real people.

Basically, I wanted to be able to determine whether a certain vendor was worth meeting up with and narrow down my choices to 2 or 3 vendors with whom I wanted to arrange in-person meetings in each category (e.g. photographer, cake person, DJ, etc.). After all, who has the time to meet with a gazillion vendors when all you need is one good vendor for each category!

“T”, my husband (then my fiance), and I created this website to provide personal reviews of wedding vendors in order to not only keep track of what we have seen and liked but also to help others in their wedding planning. I am using the site as a sort of “online notebook” by recording my reviews, thoughts and notes about various vendors we have used, seen, or considered and hope you will, too.

You can submit your own reviews of the same vendors we have considered or new vendors that have not yet been reviewed. It is really easy. Simple instructions on how to do this are located under How to Rate and Recommend.
