How to Rate and Recommend

Hi, there are two ways you can help out to make this a better place for all of those who are wedding planning!

#1 Review or comment on existing entries

If a venue or vendor is already on the site, you can post your ratings and comment without registering.  Just click on Reviews below each post and off you go. The star-box at the top of each post averages the ratings of all of its raters.

#2 Post a vendor NOT on the site

You just need to register by clicking on the Register button.  Choose a user name and enter your email address. You will receive an email containing a unique password for MarrysPicks. Go back to MarrysPicks.com, log in, click on Write (located in the upper left hand area) and then Post (not Page) and input the information in each of the respective fields. As a general rule, the name of the vendor should go under Title and your Post should contain the basic information, namely the address and phone number.

Pictures are optional (but really helpful!) and other pertinent information regarding the vendor would be great. You can either upload a picture from your own files or link to one from the web (please submit photo credits if doing this). In order to add a picture, click on Add an image next to the top of the text box where it says “Add media.”

Lastly, check off the pertinent categories for the vendor about which you are posting (e.g. reception venue, photographer, etc.).

In order to rate or comment on the vendor you just added to MarrysPicks, go to the regular MarrysPicks.com site, click on Be the first to review! under post about the vendor for which you are rating, add your insights, suggestions, and of course, your ratings!
