Papers & Petals is located on the busy shopping street of Burlingame Ave. The store contains a good number of dresses, all of which are out on racks, instead of in employee-access-only back rooms. They carry a good number of affordable bridal lines. This shop is a good place for those on a budget.

Paris Connection Bridal is located in the large and spacious Giftcenter building (where the Jewelrymart is located). They have a limited number of bridal gowns but a pretty extensive assortment of bridal accessories and lingerie.

The Unique Bride is a decently-sized bridal boutique located just off the busy street of Burlingame Ave. It is within walking distance from Burlingame Ave, making it convenient to stop by before or after some shopping/eating. The boutique is fairly large and has several dressing rooms with mirrors inside each room. 

I haven’t decided my wedding colors yet but am certain that I will have my bridesmaids and groomswoman wearing lbd’s. I don’t want something specifically bridal so I’ve been looking at regular retail shops. So far I have found the following couple of dresses which I think I will go ahead and order and have the girls try on, then return anything we don’t want to keep.

I know it may just be an of-the-moment thing, but I would really like a candy buffet at my wedding. I love my sweets and they can be arranged in a cute and pretty manner so how can I not? Are you planning a candy buffet for your party?

Check out this church for those of you interested in having the ceremony at a Christian church. The building is simple but pretty with stained glass windows in the main sanctuary. My family and I have been attending this church for over 20 years, so I admit that I am a little biased. The view of the ocean from the cliffside cannot be beat. Parking is plentiful in the church parking lot. A reception area is also available. We will likely have our ceremony here with the reception elsewhere.

The Presidio Log Cabin is a beautiful spot in the Presidio. I know the name is a bit Paul Bunyan-like, but don’t let that deter you. The building is located in a scenic, grassy location with its own parking lot. If you are looking for a quiet spot in the city, this may be the venue for you.

This is a nice venue for a medium sized wedding. It is located in Brisbane, close to the 101, between San Francicso and San Bruno Mountain. The drive to the spot is quaint. You go through a hilly, quiet, clean residential neighborhood with newish looking homes before arriving at the location. It has its own parking lot and plenty of street parking.
